What To Expect
During your first visit, the doctor will meet with you to hear your symptoms and your health goals. He will hear everything you have tried so far that has worked, what has not worked, and all the little things that have worked only for a short time.
Once he has reviewed your health history, he will perform a physical exam to search for the triggers to your symptoms and will order lab work where necessary. At the end of this visit, the doctor may need a day to review your case, research the meds you are taking, and design a program for you.
On your next visit, the doctor will give an organized report of everything that was found during the history and exam and explain the best course of treatment for your success. Once you have understood everything you will be responsible for in regaining your health, you can choose to begin your care program.
